Starwood utilize Southland Silver Beech: Nothofagus Menziesii

Silver Beech is a NZ Native and commonly grown on the west and south of the south island of New Zealand. Beech species are extensively used for the manufacture of wooden eating products throughout the world and is recognized as the premium material for this application. It is the only material used by Starwood to manufacture star beechwood skewers.
